Dry Joint Wall panel System

Zahner custom manufactures several dry joint panel systems.  These systems incorporate the principles of pressure equalization and rain screen. 

The dry joint systems are engineered using silicone gaskets, neoprene gaskets or metal splines within their joints or they can be designed to be interlocking. 

The dry joint wall panels use no exposed fasteners or wet sealants.   They are engineered to interlock in such a manner to control thermal movement without compromising the moisture deterrence requirements. 

Our dry joint systems are all custom – made to order.  They have undergone extensive pressure and wind testing.  The panels can be rectangular or trapezoidal in configuration, planar or dual curved

This system was used in context in De Young Museum, Hunter Museum, Freedom Center, and Rosenthal.
