MetaShape™

Custom Deep-Relief Bumped Patterns

MetaSHAPE panels offer the designer the ability to produce significant detail above and beyond the typical flat metal systems. Designs are no longer limited to just the paint color or applied embellishments to develop detail. Intricate motifs and patterns can be molded integrally into the metal skin to compose a uniquely textured wall.

The panel system can be incorporated into all conventional curtainwall systems.

Finished panels are available in custom sizes:
Widths up to 52 inches (1320 mm)
Lengths up to 144 inches (3658 mm)
Panels of larger dimension are available upon evaluation.

A century ago, revolutionary metal fabrication techniques enabled the construction of extraordinarily complex designs. The beauty and elegance of these architectural fabrications have remained as lasting tributes to hand crafted excellence.

As we enter this century, state of the art techniques of metal fabrication offer a return to the richness of detail, detail previously considered unachievable because of expense or technical limitations.

MetaSHAPE is a new technology enabling the designer to enhance the metal surface with deep relief designs. The MetaSHAPE process, shapes metal into carefully crafted dies, using technologies that did not exist a few decades ago.

CUSTOM RELIEF SURFACES
MetaSHAPE panels can be designed with both inward and outward relief. Total formation of the panel is a relation of the pattern design, the metal thickness, and the metal elastic limit.
