Argosy Casino in Indiana

In the Southeast corner of Indiana, located along the Ohio River and adjacent to the states of Ohio and Kentucky, the architect's design successfully replicated the region's old structural steel trestle bridges.  The exterior of was designed to express the Victorian theme of the original casino Landside Pavilion and Hotel.

Zahner was responsible for the engineering, furnishing, fabricating, and installing the linear and interconnecting bridge forms of a large resort property. The exterior system uses rain screen technologies developed by Zahner for all components of the building envelope. There were approximately 43,400 square feet of visible surface covered by thousands of unique types of panels.

The over height forms of the skywalks, parking, and support zones were carefully identified using engineering models and fabrication drawings to identifiy bumped and multiple color pattern relationships. Similarly, interior panels, decorative ceiling rings, and faux duct hangers were completed to the same exacting standards.
