Cats Paw

Cats Paw Lounge-New World Hotel

Designed by architect Chris Cooney, the Cat's Paw Bar is located in the Kowloon District of Hong Kong. The project features a series of stainless steel ribbons, each generated from scale models constructed by the artist. Zahner produced the custom fabricated stainless steel shapes, and designed and built the support system for the floating metal skins.

The surface of the metal is a #4 satin surface, with painted light-red stripes that run the course of the stainless steel surface.
