The Kansas City Board of Trade sculpture, by Joel Marquardt, is a large, multi-panel piece fabricated in stainless steel, bronze and copper.

Working from an artist's mock-up that was approximately 15" tall, A. Zahner Company enlarged the image to approximately 60' tall and attached it to the side of an existing parking garage.

Each of the 55 copper panels has a design and patina that is unique to that panel. Back lit with neon, the sculpture is as visually interesting by night as it is by day.
