The Sears Tower in Chicago under went a major renovation in 1992. A. Zahner Company fabricated and installed these stainless steel panels with a custom finish.
This detail illustrates the different finishes utilized. The 1 1/2 inch wide vertical and horizontal bands are a mirror finish stainless steel, the large panels are a satin finish while the 4 inch wide panels are a custom finish. The center medallion is about 2 feet square and has a satin finish.
