SuperFlat™ Seam

Flatter than Flat-Lock

Flatseam panel systems have been a part of the architectural metals industry since the inception of the architectural metals industry. The problem with standard flatseam or flat-lock panel systems, is that they don't lay flat. After years of offering standard flat seam panels, Zahner began innovating a flatseam system which would actually lay flat. We've improved the typical flat seam system and expanded its capabilities.

The SuperFlat™ system can be used to develop patterns across entire the surface of a structure, as seen above on the Weatherhead.  Architects and Designers can use our systems to create patterns in flatseam panels never before used in architecture.  We can create a variety of sizes and configurations to meet any design while ensuring moisture shedding capability.

The Zahner SuperFlat™ panel system can be installed on practically any surface or shape.  Panels can be constructed using almost any metal available.  Each system is custom made to our client’s specifications.

This system was used in context on the Hunter Museum, Pritzker Pavilion, the Art Gallery of Alberta, and on Frank Gehry's Weatherhead Building, pictured on the banner above.
