Art and engineering merged last week as The Dallas Morning News' photographers toured the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre and the Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House, two of the main venues at the Dallas Center for the Performing Arts.

Their senses lit up at the architecturally-supercharged site's vast array of lines. patterns and perspectives, and how the light plays in the spaces.
