About the Plate Panel System
Plate Panel systems developed by Zahner provide designers with a customizable facade system that can utilize almost any finish. Various aesthetics are achievable with this system, as it allows for a combination of varying panel sizes, orientations, and edge conditions that all have similar fabrication and installation techniques.
Our Plate Panel system is composed of metal panels in plate (typically .120”+) thicknesses with hardware welded to the backside that engages with Z-girt hardware. Adjustable Z-girts can allow for tolerance in the substrate, so the final installation is smooth and continuous. The joints can include backing hardware to close the joints or can be designed with open joints to allow airflow.
