Contemporary Jewish Museum

The Contemporary Jewish Museum was founded in 1984 in San Francisco, California, with the goal of offering contemporary perspectives on Jewish culture, history, art, and ideas. In June 2008, the Museum moved to the Yerba Buena Gardens district of San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood, into a new building designed by architect Daniel Libeskind.

The surface of the building is clad in a unique metal, cross-fire color-interference blue stainless steel. The surface is especially resistant to weathering and completely deters moisture. The building features our Inverted Seam™ Roofing and Siding system. The skylight windows are engineered to perfectly integrate with our system, inset with four-sided structural silicone glazing. The windows sit perfectly flush with the surface of the metal, giving the roof and siding a smooth, uniform facing.
